CEO
BRYANT C. HOLMES
In 2004, Mr. Holmes continued to further his education in the criminal justice field while employed with the IL Department of Correction, as a corrections officer. Shortly after, in 2005, he relocated to the Washington, DC area where he catapulted into the government contracting arena. He realized Veterans were missing out: contracts that were set aside for Veteran-owned companies were awarded to those that had absentee owners or employed less than 30% Veterans.
Mr. Holmes solution to this issue was to create a for-profit 100% Veteran Owned and 100% Veteran Operated Security Company, one that would build value for any agency looking to support Veterans. His ingrained belief that Veterans do not want a hand-out and have proven leadership and teamwork skills, a “get it done attitude”, was a guiding principle for starting this company. USVS would bring Veterans together under one accord, allowing them to produce, thrive and live with dignity. Mr. Holmes envisions that US Veterans Security will be one of the first- if not the first company on such a large scale solely employing Veterans. His dream is for USVS to provide abundant jobs for our Veterans in its first phase of operations, with the second stage helping deserving servicemen obtain affordable housing. Mr. Holmes truly believes that USVS is the kind of company that both the industry and our Veterans have been waiting for: firms can show their support for our servicemen and Veterans will have a steady and supportive source of employment.
Mr. Holmes is a Mason, is active among the Disabled American Veterans, and is a member of Reid Temple Military Support Group Ministry.
COO
BYRON FERGUSON
As a civilian, Mr. Ferguson went on to find his niche in the sales field. As a new sales agent, his leadership ability was immediately recognized which resulted in him being promoted to a sales manager after only a few months, and eventually to the position of office manager 3 years later. During that time, he received numerous awards and accolades for his performance as a manager and agent.
Mr. Ferguson played a key role in helping the office set a company record for growth by increasing annual sales from $250,000 to over $1.2 million. Additionally, because of his talent for new agent development, the President of the company invited him to conduct a special
training detailing his system for success to new office managers throughout the company. In 2014, Mr. Ferguson was forced to resign from his career in sales due to health reasons. Mr. Ferguson’s award-winning ability to lead and develop talent will be utilized at USVS to ensure that the men and women who serve within our organization do so with the same pride and professionalism that is synonymous with being a distinguished member of the US armed forces.
